On Thursday 8th September 2022 we lost the matriarch of our nation, a truly remarkable woman whose elegance and grace were unsurpassed.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a much-loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her own family and, on behalf of everyone at Funeral Partners we offer sincere condolences to them on their loss.
She dedicated her life to service and duty and leaves us all with her indelible legacy.
Information Regarding Funerals
It is thought likely that Her Majesty’s funeral could be Monday 19th September, and that the day will be declared a Bank Holiday. If so, our intention would of course be to close our branches on the day. This date is yet to be confirmed.
We expect that many funeral venues such as crematoria, cemeteries, and also churches, would not be available on the day of the funeral, however, those venues may choose to honour funeral arrangements already made.
We are currently finding out what the approach of your local funeral venues is likely to be, in order that we can communicate clearly with any of our families who have arrangements that coincide with the day of Her Majesty’s funeral.
If a venue is to honour bookings already made, we will of course do likewise. If not, we will work with the venue and our families to find an alternative date that suits. We will be in touch those effected as soon as we can.
