About Sandbox Test
Sandbox Test opened in 2022 to provide funeral directors services in the local area under the guidance of Paul Weightman.
Godalming Funeral Service was established in 2022, when Paul Weightman joined the Funeral Partners Family and work began to restore a former funeral home in Godalming. Over a 40 year career Paul has helped thousands of families, serving his clients and their loved ones with empathy, respect and exemplary standards of care.
Paul is now looking forward to his new role as Senior Funeral Director at Godalming Funeral Service, working across the Guildford (Formerly James & Thomas Funeral Directors) and Godalming Branches.
Here at Sandbox Test we offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.

Meet the Team
Paul Weightman
Senior Funeral Director
Paul, 55, knew he wanted to be a Funeral Director before he left school, with the seed of his plans being planted when he attended his grandfather’s funeral aged 15.
“I was placed at a funeral home on a Youth Training Scheme. This government scheme paid a small salary and provided 13 weeks classroom-based learning and 39 weeks on the job, so to speak.
“At the end of my year’s Youth Training Scheme I was taken on full time by the business, and I took on the managerial role in 1987, at the age of 20.”
Since then, Paul has enjoyed a lengthy career in the local area, co-ordinating hundreds of funerals each year, serving his clients and their loved ones with empathy, respect and exemplary standards of care.
